PowerBox CR
The PowerBox CR works by modifying the electronic signals that control fuel pressure produced by the pump in order to optimize engine performance. The PowerBox CR senses and responds to changes in engine load/speed throughout the range of acceleration. With the PowerBox CR, pressure accumulates faster in the rail and is readily maintained to deliver more power and torque. The result is smooth and responsive acceleration that produces sportier handling. The increased torque produced by the PowerBox enables the engine to operate more efficiently, so fuel consumption is minimized. 

The PowerBox CR is equipped with plugs that are compatible with those in your vehicle. With the instructions provided, an inexperienced driver can complete the installation in 5 minutes on most models. PowerBox CRplus
The PowerBox CRplus is fully digital and includes a signal variation switch with multiple settings, so there's never a problem finding the setting that's best for your vehicle. You can even turn the PowerBox off while it is still connected. 

The CRplus has been programmed for optimal performance. Power gains vary depending on engine and ECU type. CRplus users can expect a power improvement ranging from 25% to 55% greater than the gains achieved with our standard PowerBox CR.  Essentially, the power improvement is linear to acceleration; however, a greater boost is provided when there’s an immediate demand for acceleration.  This reduces the time required to pass other vehicles, and, in some cases, means less time exposure to oncoming traffic.

Despite its potential for tremendous power improvement, the CRplus has been programmed to provide better fuel efficiency. Its unique programming increases power when needed most. During acceleration, the injection time required to achieve higher speeds is substantially reduced. This minimizes fuel consumption. In fact, independent testing revealed fuel economy savings from 10% to 15% at signal variation settings between from “3” to “6.”  

The CRplus includes an extended wiring harness to provide greater reach for installation. Each unit comes complete with illustrated instructions and is backed by our 3-year limited warranty.

PowerBox VP
The PowerBox VP works by modifying the electronic signals that control fuel pressure produced by the VP 37 pump in order to optimize engine performance. The PowerBox VP increases fuel pressure at the pump to compensate for lost pressure as fuel is distributed to each injector. The increased pressure enables injectors to respond faster during acceleration. While actual injection pressure is not increased, the pressure required to activate injectors is readily maintained.

The PowerBox VP includes plugs that are compatible with those originally installed in your vehicle. The PowerBox VP is easily installed between the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and the injection pump. With the instructions provided, an inexperienced driver can complete the installation in 5 minutes. The PowerBox VP will not override the safe operating parameters of your engine and does not change or interfere with ECU functioning. Other features are highlighted in the product overview below.

PowerBox PD
With the PD (Pumpe Düse) or direct unit injection system, the diesel fuel is heated to a very high temperature due to its thermal properties. The direct injection system has a temperature sensor that communicates with the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). When diesel fuel is heated to substantially higher temperatures, its density decreases. When this occurs, the fuel temperature sensor communicates the change, and the ECU compensates by injecting more fuel for combustion. 

This is where the PowerBox intervenes. Integrated electronics communicates a higher temperature to the ECU, causing more fuel to be injected. The additional fuel is burned along with the excess air, which leads to a proportionate increase in output. The increased fueling will not override the safe operating parameters of your engine and does not change or interfere with ECU functioning.

The PowerBox PD includes plugs that are compatible with those originally installed in your vehicle, and it easily installs directly to the fuel temperature sensor.  With the instructions provided, an inexperienced driver can complete the installation in 5 minutes.
